We'll pull through this somehow.
Get on the grid right away! It's easy to make your journal friends only if you've locked all early entries!
I have come to depend on my friends for entertainment nearly as much as I depend on books, music, and movies! YOU HAVE A RESPONSIBILITY TO ENTERTAIN US, DAMMIT!
Wow--that was meant to be an "earnest plea". Don't leave us, O Villagecharm. Don't leave us!
I'll be posting friends-only soon. I just feel a little unhappy about having to cut people who aren't on LJ or aren't friends off.
if you're not posting public anymore, can you add me?
i find you post along with your user name very funny.
not in a bad way either.
i don't get it. what happened?
I'm not sure what you mean. You can read my friends only posts, right?
Being that I live in the City of Village Charm as well, I would like to enlist your assistance in locating the babbling brook portrayed on the wooden sign at the end of the ramp leading towards Buckland Hills Metropolis. I personally have never seen it and feel that mayhaps it does not exist. Totally nothing to do with your posting, but I felt it somewhat applicable since we both reside in the silk city.
Until your post, it never occurred to me that the aforementioned babbling brook might be real. I always assumed it was a metaphor, as if to say that Manchester helps visitors discover the Brook Within. Off the top of my head, though, I think it might be referring to the broad, majestic Hop River, which can best be glimpsed in all its awesome grandeur on the bridge near the old fire museum, behind the building that was once Needle In a Haystack Books and Mutiny Records. Other than that, I can't think of such a picturesque babbling brook in town. There is a secret waterfall, however.
I'm trying to expand my livejournal resume. It was a pleasure to meet you on Saturday :)

Hope you don't mind...
but I added you as a friend. My name is Sara, and I live in Manchester. One question - half man half biscuit - do you mean the UK band who released "This Leaden Pall"?

Re: Hope you don't mind...
I don't mind at all. I've added you back, if that's okay. Based on your interests, you have truly excellent taste in music. I will have to check out the Indie Disco thing you do sometime. Also, I'm floored that you've heard of Half Man Half Biscuit. You are potentially the only other person in this country besides my brother and two friends to know who they are.
it's the new incarnation of lokust
Hey there, when I went to look at the list of books you wanted, the post had been erased by LJ. I think I remember most of what you wanted, though.
Oh! add me too! I found you through helmetfreshener
and have read your comments occasionaly elsewhere perhaps as well.
ncie to meet you last night, sorry we didn't get to talk more. i've added you.
Hey! Yeah, that was neat. I'm glad I got to meet everyone. I've added you back.
Hi, it's Jeremy. I've broken down and gotten my own lj.
Heya! I fear this may cause me unnecessary harm, but would you consider adding me to your friends list? Hazmat tells me I should read your posts. I must admit, though, that it seems unfair that I should discover how entertaining you are right before you leave us! Still, I'm willing to face the inevitable anguish this will cause me.
I will try to keep the harm to strictly necessary levels. I have added you, and I hope I live up to hazmat's billing.
Hi. I found you through BrooklynDispatch. Mind if I add you?
No, please do, and I'll add you back. Any friend of his is a friend of mine.
peep the new LJ. Hit me back.
